Walking The Dogs

The other day I was talking with Kristen Painter about her new cat and experiences with walking her cats. Here is Kristen’s new baby, Spencer . Isn’t he lovely?

I tried to explain the difficulties I have walking my two dogs…slow poke and speed demon.

This is how I have to hold their leads…

Here is how I watch them!

I can see speed demon out the front of the cart and watch slow poke in the side mirror.

Once slow poke has “done her business,” she gets back in the cart and we let speed demon run on the lead. My cart will go 13-14 mph. Speed Demon keeps the lead stretched out to the end!

So Kristen, here is how my walk looks.

Do you walk dogs? Do they walk at the same rate or do you have a slow poke and speed demon?

    I NEVER said I was “walking”…I said I was “walking the dogs”! šŸ™‚

    Hahaha! Hilarious post. Our walks are crazy too. Three leashes, one kid on a bike and the other in a stroller. We take up an entire lane.
